Welcome to The Veggie Travels.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of The Veggie Travels website, your interactions with us, and your purchase or participation in our travel services, trips, cruises, experiences and community activities.
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, making a payment, confirming a booking or participating in a service or experience organised by The Veggie Travels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
1. ABOUT THE VEGGIE TRAVELS
The Veggie Travels (“TVT”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a premium vegetarian travel company offering curated travel experiences, bespoke FITs, group journeys, cruises, community experiences and travel-related services.
We also operate as a travel content creator and collaborate with brands, destinations and other partners.
Depending on the service you purchase, The Veggie Travels may act as a travel planner, curator, organiser, booking facilitator or coordinator between you and third-party travel suppliers.
2. EVERY JOURNEY IS DIFFERENT
We believe travel should be personal.
The details, inclusions, exclusions, pricing, payment schedule, cancellation terms and other conditions of each journey may differ depending on the destination, suppliers, travel dates and services selected.
Your booking confirmation, quotation, invoice or trip-specific terms will contain the specific conditions applicable to your journey.
Where specific booking terms have been provided to you, those terms will take precedence over these general Terms & Conditions to the extent of any inconsistency.
3. TRAVEL ENQUIRIES & ITINERARY PLANNING
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a confirmed booking.
A journey becomes confirmed only once:
- The itinerary or service has been agreed upon;
- You have accepted the applicable quotation or booking terms; and
- The required payment has been received by The Veggie Travels or the relevant supplier.
Availability, pricing and inclusions may change until a booking has been confirmed.
4. BESPOKE / FIT TRAVEL
For FITs and bespoke journeys, The Veggie Travels may curate and coordinate accommodation, transportation, experiences, guides, restaurants and other travel services based on your requirements.
Once a booking is confirmed, changes or cancellations may be subject to charges imposed by the relevant suppliers.
The specific cancellation, payment and amendment terms for your journey will be communicated as part of your booking documentation.
5. GROUP TRIPS
Group trips are organised around fixed dates, group sizes, accommodation, transportation, experiences and other advance commitments.
Each group trip may have its own:
- Payment schedule
- Deposit requirements
- Cancellation policy
- Inclusions and exclusions
- Minimum group size
- Rooming arrangements
- Amendment conditions
- Trip-specific terms
The terms communicated for your specific group trip will apply to your booking.
The Veggie Travels reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an itinerary where necessary due to operational, supplier, weather, safety or other circumstances.
6. CRUISES
Cruise bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant cruise line.
This includes the cruise line's policies relating to:
- Booking and payment
- Deposits
- Cancellation
- Refunds
- Name changes
- Cabin changes
- Itinerary changes
- Port changes
- Delays
- Onboard services
- Health and safety requirements
The applicable cruise line terms and cancellation policy will take precedence in relation to the cruise booking.
The Veggie Travels does not control the operation, schedule or policies of the cruise line.
7. COMMUNITY EXPERIENCES & EVENTS
Community experiences and events organised by The Veggie Travels are subject to the details communicated for each individual experience.
These may include specific information regarding:
- Date and time
- Venue
- Inclusions
- Capacity
- Pricing
- Dietary requirements
- Participation requirements
- Cancellation and refund terms
For community experiences, our general cancellation policy is:
Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the experience may be eligible for a refund. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable.
The specific terms displayed at the time of booking will apply to the relevant experience.
8. PRICING & PAYMENTS
All prices will be communicated in the applicable quotation, booking page, invoice or payment link.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, prices may be subject to applicable taxes, government charges, supplier fees, payment processing charges or other mandatory costs.
A booking is not considered confirmed until the required payment has been received.
Payment schedules may vary depending on the type of booking.
Failure to make a payment by the specified due date may result in the cancellation or release of your booking, and any applicable cancellation charges may apply.
9. THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS
Travel involves services provided by independent third parties, including but not limited to:
- Hotels and resorts
- Airlines
- Cruise lines
- Transportation providers
- Restaurants
- Local guides
- Experience providers
- Tour operators
- Visa and travel assistance providers
- Travel insurance providers
These suppliers operate independently and may have their own terms, conditions, cancellation policies and operating procedures.
While we carefully select and work with our travel partners, The Veggie Travels is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, service failures or policy decisions of third-party suppliers, except to the extent required by applicable law.
Where appropriate, we will assist in communicating with suppliers and finding reasonable solutions.
10. ITINERARY CHANGES
Travel plans can occasionally change due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may need to modify an itinerary, accommodation, transportation arrangement, activity or experience due to:
- Weather
- Operational requirements
- Supplier availability
- Government regulations
- Transportation disruptions
- Safety considerations
- Local conditions
- Force majeure events
- Other unforeseen circumstances
Where a change is necessary, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative of comparable nature and value where possible.
11. TRAVELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they:
- Hold valid passports and required travel documents
- Obtain the necessary visas and permits
- Meet applicable entry and health requirements
- Provide accurate traveller information
- Inform us of relevant dietary or accessibility requirements
- Arrive on time for scheduled transportation and experiences

12. PASSPORTS, VISAS & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary travel documents for their journey.
Visa requirements, passport validity requirements and entry regulations can vary by nationality and destination.
Where we provide general travel or visa information, this should not be treated as a guarantee of visa approval or entry into a country.
Travellers should verify the requirements applicable to their individual circumstances before travelling.
13. TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain appropriate travel insurance before travelling.
Insurance may provide protection for circumstances such as eligible trip cancellations, medical emergencies, travel interruptions, baggage loss and other unforeseen events.
The Veggie Travels is not an insurance provider and does not guarantee that any particular loss will be covered by an insurance policy.
14. DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Vegetarian travel is at the heart of what we do.
We make reasonable efforts to communicate dietary requirements to relevant suppliers based on the information provided to us.
However, The Veggie Travels cannot guarantee the absence of allergens, cross-contamination or unintended ingredients at third-party establishments.
Travellers with severe allergies or medically significant dietary requirements are responsible for communicating their requirements directly to the relevant service provider as well.
15. HEALTH, SAFETY & ACCESSIBILITY
Travellers are responsible for assessing whether a journey, activity or experience is appropriate for their individual circumstances.
Certain destinations and experiences may involve physical activity, uneven terrain, altitude, water-based activities, wildlife encounters or other inherent risks.
Please inform us in advance of any relevant accessibility requirements so that we can discuss available options with our suppliers.
We reserve the right to recommend that a traveller not participate in a particular activity where we reasonably believe it may pose a significant safety risk.
16. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy as well as the specific terms applicable to your booking.
Because every journey is different, the applicable cancellation policy may vary between community experiences, group trips, FITs and cruises.
Your booking confirmation will contain the specific cancellation and refund terms applicable to your trip.
Where a third-party supplier's cancellation policy applies, any refund will be subject to that supplier's terms.

- Strikes or industrial action
- Pandemics or epidemics
- Transportation disruptions
- Acts of terrorism
- Supplier failure

Where appropriate, we may use such content across The Veggie Travels' website, social media channels, marketing materials and other communications.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes, please inform the TVT team or event organiser.
Where content is specifically commissioned, submitted or provided by a traveller or collaborator, separate content or usage terms may apply.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Veggie Travels will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control or from the acts or omissions of independent third-party suppliers.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
