Terms & Conditions

Last updated 7 August 2026

These terms apply when you book an experience, event, retreat or trip with [TO CONFIRM — registered legal name, exactly as on the GST certificate] ("we", "us"). Please read them before you book — paying for a booking means you accept them.

Bookings

A booking is only confirmed once we have received full payment and sent you a written confirmation. Until then your place is not held.

Places are limited and are allocated in the order payments are received. If an experience fills before your payment completes, we will refund you in full.

Where an experience has a minimum age or other requirement, it is stated on the experience's page.

Prices, GST and payment

Prices are shown per person and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. The applicable GST is shown before you pay and is added to the total. A tax invoice will be issued for every booking.

Payment is taken online through our payment gateway. We do not store your card or bank details.

We may change the price of future experiences at any time, but never the price of a booking you have already paid for.

The venue

For some experiences, including private dining, the venue address is shared only with confirmed guests after booking. We will send it to you by email before the event.

Dietary requirements and allergies — please read

All our food is vegetarian. Where an experience is described as Jain-friendly or otherwise restricted, we prepare it to that standard.

Tell us about every allergy and dietary requirement when you book. We will do our best to accommodate you and will pass your requirements to the kitchen.

However, our experiences are often prepared in shared kitchens and at third-party venues. We cannot guarantee that any dish is free from traces of a given allergen, and we cannot accept liability for an allergic reaction where the risk could not reasonably be eliminated. If your allergy is severe, please contact us before booking so we can tell you honestly whether we can cater for you safely.

If you cancel

Cancellation terms, and what you get back, are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

If we cancel or change something

Occasionally we may have to cancel, reschedule or change the venue of an experience — for example if too few people book, or a host or venue becomes unavailable.

If we cancel, you may choose a full refund or a place on the rescheduled date. If we make a significant change and it does not work for you, the same choice applies. We are not responsible for other costs you may have incurred, such as travel or accommodation, so please book those with that in mind.

Behaviour at our experiences

Our gatherings are shared with other guests. We may ask anyone to leave, without a refund, if their behaviour puts others at risk or seriously affects their enjoyment.

Photography

We often photograph our experiences and may use those images to promote our work. Tell us if you would rather not appear and we will respect that. See our Privacy Policy.

Trips and retreats

Multi-day trips and retreats may carry additional terms, including deposit schedules and supplier conditions, which we will give you before you book. We strongly recommend travel insurance for any trip involving travel or accommodation. [TO CONFIRM — whether travel insurance is required or merely recommended for group trips]

Our liability

We deliver our experiences with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for loss or damage that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for the acts of third-party venues and suppliers beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [TO CONFIRM — city for jurisdiction, e.g. Mumbai] have exclusive jurisdiction.
