2. Drain the excess water and transfer the rice to a mixer
3. Add 4 tbsp of water, coconut (optional), and salt to it
4. Blitz it for 4-5 minutes or till it turns into a paste. Transfer this to a bowl
5. In a pan, heat oil on a low-medium flame. Spread the batter with a ladle on the pan once it's hot
6. Cook this batter for 40 seconds on a low-medium flame on one side and then start rolling it out
7. Do this for the remaining batter and transfer it to a dish. Serve with chutney of your choice
