Baked Risotto Makes 1 medium plate

Ingredients

1 cup boiled rice (arborio preferred but any rice works)
½ cup cream
½ cup chopped bell peppers
½ tsp crushed black pepper
1 clove of garlic, chopped
¼ cup grated cheese
1 tsp oregano
2 tbsp olive oil
½ cup of water
2 tbsp butter
Salt taste

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 10 minutes

2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan

3. Add garlic and bell peppers

4. Saute this for 2 minutes on a medium flame

5. Add cream and water

6. Let this boil for 3-4 minutes

7. Now add the rice, oregano, pepper, and salt

8. Mix this well for another 2 minutes

9. Take a baking dish and line it with butter paper or smear some butter all over the bottom of the dish

10. Add the rice mixture to this and top it with grated cheese

11. Bake this in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes or till the cheese turns slightly brown

12. Garnish with oregano (optional). Serve hot

That’s it!

Tips

I have used rice that was readily available for me. The REAL risotto has Arborio rice. Try using that if it's available for you.
