3-Ingredient Chocolate Cake with the Easiest Chocolate Sauce Makes 1 medium loaf of cake and 1 medium bowl of sauce

Ingredients

Cake:
10-12 medium-sized chocolate cookies
¾ cup milk
1&¼ tsp baking powder

Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp powdered sugar
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp Nutella

Method

Cake:

1. In a grinder, add all the cookies that you like (Oreos, Bourbon, Lotus Biscoff, Marie biscuits, etc). Crush them into a fine powder

2. Transfer this into a bowl. Add milk and baking powder. Fold these ingredients together to form a cake batter

3. Line a cake tin with butter paper or smear butter at the bottom of the tin so the cake doesn't stick when it's baked

4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Pour the cake batter into the cake tin and bake it in the oven at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes

5. After 10 minutes, stick a toothpick at the bottom of the cake and if it comes out clean that means it is baked. Otherwise, pop it in the oven for two more minutes or until it's done

6. Take it out and cool it for 10-15 minutes on a plate

Sauce:

1. In a small, deep vessel, heat butter, sugar, water, Nutella, and cocoa powder on a low flame

2. Keep stirring for 5-7 minutes or till this sauce starts thickening. That’s it!

3. Pour this over your cake and refrigerate it for 5 minutes before adding the toppings of your choice like chocolate chunks, crushed biscuits, or mints. Enjoy!!

Tips

You can add sprinkles of your choice to the cake. I added mints which made it taste like After Eight chocolate. It was delicious!!
